Goal:
Increase the involvement of local agencies and individuals to develop and promote their own programs dealing with these issues.
Objective
Plan for and include a Professional Male Track in the NMTPC Conference

Goal
Provide leadership and direction on the status of young males in New Mexico and their needs through the mechanism of the NMTPC Male Involvement Committee.
Objective
Structure the Male Involvement Committee.
Organize regional subcommittees to promote goals and objectives by 12/98.
Sponsor and facilitate a statewide core event focusing on teen pregnancy and violence and intervention programs.

Goal
Create a statewide network of male advocates.
Objective
Develop a web site on male issues.
Identify, recruit, and organize male advocates in all DOH regions of the state.
Submit on a quarterly basis articles for the NMTPC newsletter.
