Abstinence-Based Approach to HIV/STDs and Teen Pregnancy Prevention
To reduce the risk for HIV/STDs and teen pregnancy, young adolescents not
only need knowledge and perception of personal vulnerability but also positive

Appropriate for Middle and High School
Teen Outreach Program
The TOP curriculum, Changing Scenes, serves as a step-by-step guide for
adults who facilitate the group discussion component of the Teen Outreach
Program. Through the use of age-appropriate content, current educational “best
practices,” and activities and materials that encourage hands-on
learning, Changing Scenes helps young people navigate the difficult
and sometimes threatening journey from adolescence to young adulthood.
